Village Pantry Continues Acquisition Strategy

Over the past twelve months Village Pantry has increased their store base by 27 percent. With most of their stores located in Indiana, they have recently expanded into Ohio and Michigan and are currently seeking acquisition opportunities within Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio.

"Look for our expansion to continue for the next 36 months," said Steven Larkin, Vice President of Real Estate at Village Pantry. "There is currently no set limit on the number of stores we are looking to acquire," says Larkin. "We will take singles, twosies, chains...any number of stores. If the right opportunity presents itself, we will consider acquisition."

In addition to the geographical limitations, Village Pantry has expressed some additional criteria for the stores they will consider. Larkin says, "The stores we will consider must pump a minimum of 1 million gallons and do more than $1 million inside sales annually. It must be a true c-store (2,000 sq. ft.) and have ample parking."

If you are a Seller, or are considering selling, and your business meets this criteria, you can contact Steven Larkin at Village Pantry about your store. Steven can be reached via email at: steven.larkin@VPstores.com.

Be sure to check out Steven Larkin's exclusive article on Gaining Buyer Confidence. It's a must-read piece for all gas station owners, sellers, and business brokers. And it can only be found on GasStations.com.
